The people here are so rude. The guy K.D that checked me in basically made me feel like I was interrupting his phone call which he did not end the whole time I was in front of him.

He got very nasty because he couldnt concentrate on what he was doing. My room is dirty. Stove is disgusting, no trash can, floors are dirty.

I dont even want to ask for more towels because I dont want to deal with the people who work here. I had to clean my room before unpacking.

Preferred solution: I want a free night. I want to rent this room for another evening and feel I shouldn’t have to pay for it. I’ve already cleaned this room.

Sexual harassment and extortion

During my day at the extended stay on Reese Road as well as on State Road 84 both in Davie, fl in Broward county. my experience was that there was an employee who worked on Reese Road pretending to be the GM, and sexually harassing girls and asking them to pay for sex.

He was also giving out rooms when the manager was gone and pocketing the money, all the while giving them dirty rooms that were unclean. He was also extorting by saying if I didn't give up sex, then I couldn't get a room. I also had a package delivered to the front desk when I was staying there, and he would not give me the package unless I bought him lunch. Fast forward to me now staying at the State Road 84 one, and lo and behold, he was promoted to assistant manager there.

He continuously knocked on my door looking for my best friend, who was also sexually harassed. He would call the hotel phone looking for her and telling me to tell her that he had something special for her and to come to the front desk when she arrived. When she didn't, he came knocking on my door and asked me if I wanted to do something with him. When I told him no, he looked at me and said, 'Are you really gonna do me like that?' and I said, 'Yes, I really am.

Please leave.' During this time, he was staying next door illegally; the staff didn't know about it, and he would crack the door open so it would not lock and stay in there at night. There was no microwave in there, so he would always be knocking again to be able to use my microwave as a way to get into my apartment, or room, I should say. So the very next day, after I denied him, I got a knock on the door, and the manager told me that I had to leave because I was trespassing, as I apparently was banned from the hotel on Reese Road, which was not true. I looked at the assistant manager and said to him, 'Tell them that that's not true.' He did not and said, 'I don't know.' So I told the manager what was really going on about the harassment and him staying next door, and she didn't believe me.

I fully believe that I was kicked out because he was pissed off that I did not do what he wanted. I have numerous text messages to show the harassment, and I even reported it to corporate and gave them my number to call me, but apparently, they didn't write the report right, so I guess they had my old number. But they still never reached out. Anyways, when I called them back to get a follow-up, they said that the case was closed and that they didn't find anything.

I told them they didn't even call me, and I even updated my number and my email, and they refused to reopen the case with the proper number and email. They told me that I could just talk to their lawyers. The fact that they did not take this seriously is beyond me. When they called the cops the day that they were trespassing me, I told everybody what was going on.

There was one cop that actually cared and told the girl manager that this is a serious accusation and that to keep the guy on while this is going on is probably not a good idea for their appearance. He also told her to think about what I was saying because it sounded very true. She did nothing about it, and he is still roaming around as the assistant manager there, and I'm hearing from other girls that he's now asking them for sex. I'm not one to do the Me Too movement, and that's not what I'm doing it for.

I'm doing this because it's very wrong, and people need to hear this because it should not be going on. How pathetic that is that a guy is using his power to try to get what he wants. The fact that the staff is looking the other way is wrong, all because they think I was trying to do this in retaliation, when really, I was not. I was keeping my mouth shut, which maybe was my big mistake by not doing it sooner and saying it sooner before what happened to me.

But at that point in time, I didn't see the need to hold back anymore. So Elijah is his name, and he's finally being called out. I'm done sitting behind and letting this slide by when this has caused me a lot of nightmares and a lot of pain, self-worth issues, and self-confidence problems. My friend and I are finally fighting back and taking the right route, so my friend will also be making a review, and maybe corporate, if you see this, maybe you'll start to do your job and actually call the people back who made complaints and not say that they'll call you back within 48 hours and never call because they don't.

They're full of crap. When you make a complaint about one of their locations, they're gonna say that the manager will call you back. Which, again, if the problem is with the manager, why would the manager be calling us back? Then they say, 'No, don't worry.

We'll bring it to the district manager. They will be calling you back.' Not once did they call me.

Again, how do you close the case on a sexual harassment accusation or extortion? So please, if you guys are reading this and this has happened to you at these locations or even at any locations, please speak up because this needs to be taken care of and addressed the right way, and let's get justice.

Preferred solution: The manager to be fired as well as assistant manager to be fired and justice. Also because of them I had to live in my car because I had nowhere to live and not enough money to get somewhere else because they kept the money that I paid for that week.

User's recommendation: To speak up if there's an issue at any locations that you're staying out at any hotel or anywhere don't be afraid to tell because sometimes it's not worth shutting your mouth and just keep quiet thinking that it's gonna keep the peace because it could be hurting somebody else as well as you Always speak up

Sorry to hear you dated him and I'm sorry he broke up with you. That's not my fault or anything to do with me.

If you care to know the truth, you could always message me and I'll be more than happy to provide you text messages that's with his number of course since you dated him, you would know what his number is to show you evidence before you come at me the way you did to show you I'm not lying. First started with the Reese Road location him pretending to be a general manager, and when my best friend was with me, she went to go get drinks and he made a comment at her and was trying her all the time and was trying to get her *** with him for money. I also know another person it happened to. I'm not here to hurt you or anybody in any other way.

I'm just out here to say what happened in my experience because it was wrong.

What happened and what he did and the way I was treated and the way other girls were treated my best friends about to post her situation and it all started with her first so I'm sorry for whatever experience you have but no, I never worked there. No, I never dated him no nothing you weren't proof you can contact me.

you caught me lying with what honey I never worked there so I'm not upset cause I got fired cause I never was fired cause I don't work there.

I filed a police report and I hired a lawyer so I don't really understand where any of this is coming from let alone and why you even care enough to attack somebody over this. Because I was sexually harassed by the assistant manager, I want them fired. I'm sorry how does that make me disgusting of a person but it doesn't make them disgusting of a person for doing what they do to the girls.

So come again, Stephanie since you're a female what makes it ok for a guy to sexually harass because of his employment title. I already reported it and it's being investigating and everything's happening at the pace it's happening I've also lawyered up. i'm just here telling everyone what's going on because I care about people not disgusting and wanna make sure that it doesn't have them if it is happening over there still I'm stating that it's OK forthem to speak up because some girls I've spoke to are afraid to because they're afraid that they're gonna be kicked out of staying there due to the fact of his job status, but I forget that people only wanna comment negative things because they have nothing better than you and I'm not seeing you by the way or coming at you that way

After one week I was informed--at the last minute--that Motel 6 up the street called on me--my stay at Extended Stay wasn't extended--because of Motel 6. Motel 6 did all it could to slander and discredit me--their hate is vast: in truth, Motel 6 had so many smoke alarms out I called the city--and then again: the city came out there and made the establishment work for a living.

They had to change batteries and didn't want to do it--it cut into their leisure time--they're so dumb they actually live there. There was one smoke alarm out by the front of Extended Stay--Hickory, NC loves dead and dying smoke alarms. I didn't notice that before on check-in because I just didn't, but did notice it later as I hung-out in the common area with Booker T. Washington--you would think sister companies would get their act together before going on campaigns against people.

As the city knows, smoke alarms are a common problem landlords are strongly against--they cost money so do all they can to hide it; I didn't say anything about it, though, that smoke alarm was far from me and I might get evicted--but nor was I surprised that Extended was also too lazy to fix it--I got evicted, anyway, and told Motel 6 the results if they didn't get off my back. I couldn't notify HFD about Extended and wouldn't have--it was only one alarm but even if more were out, it's in the rules at Extended not to call the fire department (the call costs money but with a smoke alarm clearly out, Extended would have probably blamed someone else if that alarm were to have resulted in a call--their thinking is always twisted until money comes up: then it makes sense--batteries cost money plus all the work of putting one in). I didn't even look at the room when offered by Extended--which would have made no difference, anyway, once Motel 6 successfully hounded me down, plus the smoke alarm that was out long before I got there--it's illegal, but they do it, anyway. I took whatever Extended had; rules aplenty I signed were naturally broken--propped-open doors are a no-no but people did it all the time.

One guy was so drunk he peed on a balcony wall then left a roach on the steps; people smoke a lot of weed here--there are a few party rooms and questionable ladies way too young for most people--it's funny how I meet so many at cheap hotels. Extended agreed that my staying at Extended had no effect whatsoever on Motel 6--Extended made more money off of me than Motel 6 did but Extended went along with the program and I was evicted--the last to know, of course, I know have to worry if they'll call all over town about me. Will they trash me city-wide? Have they already?

Extended's rooms are huge--they're like actual apartments--but also like prison because you can't have your door open; no trespassers is good, no shopping carts even better, the kitchen is also huge--if *** dealers, derelicts, jailbirds, shopping carts and idiots pushing them by your door are for you, Motel 6 is the place to be. As a result of going to the city and the NCDOJ about Motel 6's hatred of smoke alarms--which I also did with Extended--I've been banned from probably every Motel 6 on the planet and probably every Extended, too. I told Extended about Motel 6's FEMA scandal and if you're one of those ladies who got that, Extended also won't take you--nor will Motel 6, despite the problem clearly being them (I informed FEMA and you should, too). How the country actually works is the few own everything and make all the money--those that go along with the program get job security at whatever peanuts they're getting.

It's the best they can do so aren't going anywhere--they're not fixing that smoke alarm, either. They also do the dirty work as the establishment hides.

You also get a full stove at Extended, no internet, though, it's in a bad spot; while Extended makes itself appear open, available and inviting to all--it isn't. Hickory, NC, has a story to sell and sells it through advertising seemingly promoted by government--it's not for doers and makers--it's for dark money, *** and criminal landlords out to get you thanks aw

So what I take away from your review is that you made a complaint to the city about non-working smoke alarms and the city forced them to fix the issue. Out of spite???, the hotel spread the word you are a "problem guest" to other hotels.

Well, hotels do talk to each other and that is not illegal or inappropriate. It happens in hotels and motels across the world everyday. While you did nothing wrong reporting them for inoperable smoke alarms, you sound like a problem guest based on your rambling list of grievances.

BTW: w33d is not legal in NC and it not strange for hotel workers who own and work at a hotel to live on property. I can't imagine why you would even care about that.

Want my money back

First of all, there were bed bugs crawling all over the bed and in the pillows. Second, my wife's e-bike got stolen.

The smoke detectors didn't work, the shower sucked, the channels on the TV didn't work, and the internet was really poor. I paid $600 for 7 days, and I met somebody who walked in just like I did and paid $420 for 7 days. The price gouging is unreal, and I'm pissed.

I want my $ back. My recommendation is don't go there.

Being a decent human being

My grandbaby had to be admitted into childrens mercy Kansas City mo.

Only 2 family members can be in with the baby.. he had to go from ER TO ER transported by ambulanceone person with baby I drove the other family member due to transportation issuesmy husband made reservations online / 3rd party! Was completely exhausted from well everything throughout the day so I was thrilled that I wouldnt have to sleep in my car over night downtown Kansas City I get to the EXTENDED STAY AMERICA MISSION KANSAS@ 11:10 pm / both lobby doors are locked/plaque says lobby hrs 7am -11pm/ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CHECK IN.called the number on my reservation confirmation they tell me to use the outdoor phone on the wall by pressing 0. By this time11:27pm there are now two other separate reservation holders waiting as well

Finally this person comes through a door from behind the desk and slowly makes her way to the door mumbling something and rolling her eyes obviously she had been jolted from her cozy existence and had to do her job she let us know she was not happy about itI as well as the others waiting let her know we would like to check in .. she then said thats not happening we have no rooms well That should not be an issue we all have confirmed reservations she said well I dont know what to tell you It doesnt matter what is on your paper .. you didnt rent a room from us you rented a room online your issue is not my problem .. there is nothing I can do... since you didnt pay us for the room you will have to request a refund from whoever you paidshe went on to say that a few sites had listed 90 available beds SO MAYBE YOU NEED TO GET AHOLD OF THOSE SITES AND LET THEM KNOW YOUR TRUE AVAILABILITYto which she quickly replied do not tell me how to do my job.. I said oh I see scammers..over book so you can if nothing else collect all kinds of BS fees and taxes ( because everything says no refunds).I WAS VERY WELL AWARE SHE DIDNT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT MY HOSPITAL SITUATIONshe jus kept saying your issue is not with usshe then closed and locked the door and went back behind the desk and disappearedI sat in my car in disbelief on how we were all just treated I then watched at least 13-16 people get the same unnecessary rude *** treatment for no other reason than she had a cozy place to be for the night and customers were disrupting that personally her unprofessional *** behavior says a lot.it says customer service is not your forte and maybe you need to return to the streets for a bit longer .. thats where respect is learned then earnedthen when you are down and out and you have the weight of the world on your shoulders and need a cozy place to stay be sure to give your money to the right person or you may end up having to deal with someone just like you customer service is not for everyone.. companies that care dont hire JUST ANYONE!!!as for me I am trying to get comfortable in my car.. hoping I can find a legit place to lay my head after another long day at the hospital coming in just a few hours thank you for reading

I did not make the comment but no one needs your permission to do so. Your issue is with the third party booking site that misrepresented the availability.

It is not the hotel’s job to police those sites for accuracy.

Have fun contacting the site to try to get your money back. You should be livid with that site because your reservation was rejected by Extended Stay and that site did not contact you.

My room was filthy. I have no trash can, no decent shower curtain. Water goes all over the floor. The stove is disgustingly dirty.

I had to clean the room as soon as I walked in the door. No point in complaining to the rude people who checked me in.

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I HAD AN ISSUE AT THE SAUGUS/BOSTON EXTENDED STAY ON SAT OCT 11. I CALLED YOUR GUEST RELATIONS AND EVENTUALLY SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR ABOUT ISSUES AT THE HOTEL.

THEY INFORMED ME TO CALL ON MONDAY BUT THEY WERE DOCUMENTING THE ISSUE. I CALLED MONDAY AND TOLD GUEST RELATIONS AGAIN WHAT HAPPENED. AND THEY SAID SOMEONE WOULD GET BACK TO ME. NOTHING I THEN CALLED AGAIN ON TUESDAY AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE DISTRICT/REGIONAL MANAGER WHO I WAS TOLD WAS A RYAN PALMIERI AND HE WOULD DEFINATELY BHE CALLING ME BY THURS.

TO THIS DAY TUES OCT 21 I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. THIS IS EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL BE CONTINUING TO ESCALATE THIS UNTIL I EVENTUALLY GET THE CEO-SOME HOW AND WAY.

I am the girl who is the best friend of the girl who has posted on the extended Stay I first met this guy at the Reese rd extended stay and I was visiting a friend he stalked me in the hallway and he finally stopped me and said are u working and I said no I have a hussa And he said to me he was the Gm and he said he wanted to see me and he would give me a room and 100 $ and then he just wouldnt leave me be and he asked if I had any friends and I told him leave me alone and he wouldnt stop harassing me every time I walked in the hallway he was there and it was scary he kept calling me on my room phone and saying that he needed to see me and I never paid him any mind he didnt stop it got worse he was stalked me !! His name is Elijah as he also tried to get us to *** with him for a dirty *** room and he said not to tell anyone and he would only do this on the weekends when the real Gm wasnt around as well as extort us to pay for his lunch or give him money or we could not get our packages that was *** up all in all then he moved to the next hotel we moved to an he was sleeping in rooms at night and he wasnt supposed to be doing that also he dam sure made sure he was right bye my room and he needed a microwave and he would try to get me to open the door and I would never have lsex and so he made a big deal out of things and Iit caused a big deal of drama and needless to say I would just be careful of him and if he did this to you come forward and speak out against sexual abuse

I loved in these hotels all over the country and they were OK till got to Norco,CA..

I lived in these hotels all over the country,some good,some not so good. I lived at each one for several months, I got to Norco CA April 30 moved to Norco and I lived there 3 .months till July 27.

I asked for my receipt the day I checked out, and given two. One showed paid for May 29-July 27 for approximately $4990.00.Correct.s Then they gave me another dated July 1, for $2775 (approximately).I asked to speak to manager Mr Lopez and they called him and he said if I don't leave to call the police with a charge of vagrancy. I said I want an explanation. It's right there in black and white.

I didn't leave and they called the police. I WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH VAGRANCY . The police said it's a civil matter. Take them to small claims court.

We'll, they have lawyers that would destroy me in court, so I'm out about $2700. The police held me for three hours. I go to court October 15. I will have it on record with the judge at least.

I am even a perk member to Extended Stays. Not a nice way to treat a 76 year old woman on a walker and oxygen.

Very sad, but true. Won't be staying in these anymore!!

You say you stayed three months. The $4990 date range you included is for 60 days.

That’s $83/night after taxes and fees. It sounds like the $2775 is for the first 30 days. That works out to $92/night. (A higher rate due to it only being one month) Did you only initially book for one month?

Then stay two more at a discount? That seems to be the case.

Disgusting accommodations

As I was heading to my room, I couldnt help but be completely surrounded by the smell of marijuana which the office smelled of as well. There was a gentleman sitting outside his room on a chair next to mine and there was loud music coming from his room which didnt bother me at all bc it was only around 7:30pm.

I walk into my room and was shocked to see the carpet was stained, both comforters were stained, the sheets were slightly stained and the blanket had a huge cigarette burn on it. The room had been turned over by staff bc towels and toilet paper were knew and the beds were made which means the staff here believes its acceptable how disgusting things are. I did call the front desk to see if there were any other rooms available apologizing for the inconvenience and he stated there werent which I again totally understand. I asked what I should do about the stained bedding and he stated I can come get my own from the office and its above his pay grade.

I work in the medical field and therefore customer service and this would never be acceptable. Im not here to get anyone in trouble and do not want that to happen bc people have bad days. The occupant next door is blaring music and its 12:35am and I know the brochure says 10pm but Im concerned to make a complaint due to the rude front desk and neighbor retaliation.

Also, when I showered I couldnt turn the bathroom light on I had to use the kitchenette light bc of my epilepsy and when I got I out I noticed a spider. This experience is unacceptable and Id appreciate a return phone call to acknowledge my concerns and have a conversation about this.

In the future, you need to find that longer term rental used by businesses to house mid-level management, educators or health care workers needing housing for several months. Otherwise, you get a place full of occupants there because they have no other option. They are not clean, motivated or productive and the place gets run down.

Hello! Good morning!

My name is Michael Washington, am a 59 yrs old Honorable Discharged Army veteran, I stay live currently at Katy Frwy Extended Stay America location and been here for about 2- year and 7 months, in which, at this location is convenient for me due to my job location.

While my complaint is from the new management up to point i being treat without any respect and talked like am a child, like I am stupid and dumb because in which I don't have a clue either my gender, age, color of my skin, or my ability to control myself to not straight- up curse this individual out. I have been down upon one staff member named Martha like her am a child and she is so unprofessional, in other staff member other than the manager are actively listening to whatever situation concerning my payment in which I always made sure to inform them other than her Martha and the current manager at this location. During my stay I have never disrespected or speak the staff without any respect. Now as my payment is concern, I have spoken to the current manager and inform her that will make sure my weekly is paid in full but are time between pay periods I will sometimes pay $250 than I will pay $100 just for the next week start, but try very hard to pay the $350per week on time and in full.

Well, the respond and impression given from the current manager and Martha Is I don't care if you pay in full, I going to kick you on the street or I am going to raise your daily rate to from $50 to $66 a day in fact in a way to make up lose revenue or a way to cover up some funds that either where spend somewhere or was pocketed, just to inform you that I don't have any relatives and don't have anywhere else to live. I currently getting my master's degree in business in October. One thing for sure I will honor my words and make I pay either for a week or the days I become short on payment. To answer your questions: Have tried to take to the manager about the issues above "No" because one she is going she put notices about the issues to the residents?

"No!' I have not because she really doesn't care about that, nor care her and Martha feel like it doesn't matter what other people might or might not be going through. Martha is constantly on the cell phone in their little back-office space. She not aware of what is going on during shift on the floors, and talk to people without any respect especially people don't cause problem, in which when they do complain and due to the fact, them don't live on this site they don't care about any concerns that goes on. My issue is Why?

I have been paying $350 a week in the past and when i know that am short funds and can pay only what I pay like $50 day toward what the balance. My major complain is how Martha speak to in a disrespectful and the manager in I refuse talk because she is unfair as well and my making feel she don't want me here and trying to find a reason to get rid of me.

Not a hotel worker but know several. Hotels do NOT want to hear any excuses about partial payments or about how "you can pay this now and pay this part later".

They want payment in FULL at the time it is due. Military status is not relevant. School is not relevant. "Respect" goes out the window when you owe on your room.

Your tenure goes out the window when you owe. You can't get an apartment and tell the the manager you will pay some now and more next week. You can't bargain with a mortgage.

If the hotel is too expensive, seek somewhere cheaper. I'm surprised they have let you stay this long as it only invites trouble in the way of people getting too comfortable and causing issues.

This is extended stay. They don’t need to make you feel welcome or respected.

You need to follow the rules. Your only interaction with them should be civil (on their side too) when you pay (on time, no excuses). Other than that, the only time any interaction is warranted is if there is an issue with your unit. Also, if you really have a college degree and are studying for your Master’s you need to take more time and effort in what you post and how it’s written.

There is also no need for a military status. It comes across as a demand or at the least an attempt for special consideration.

On Feb. 28th, I called and made a reservation and paid $655 in advance for two weeks.

The room was nasty, and the transgender named Reba mistreated me because I hurt her feelings and called her out about my dirty room and how she mistreated my special needs son and me. She asked me to leave after 5 days. I was supposed to get my refund, but she only refunded me $16. The corporate office took her side, and so I sent them a demand letter, only giving them a week to resolve the theft and mistreatment.

They have until April 11th to respond.

If not, not only will they be sued, but it’ll be for way more than what I lost. I have voice recordings and way more photos, but y’all get it!

I turned in a blanket to be washed and dried. Hours later nothing was done.

I was told it'll be done between 8am-11am tomorrow because we're stopping her from doing the drying of the blanket by our inquiries and being put off time after time by her. 1.6 is to high of a rating.
